Metro – Digital, Interactive & Omni-Channel
Metro was looking for new ways to engage there customers. They wanted to create useful relevant advertising ideas that would help improve there customers loyalty of the brand and help increase basket spend. An integrated Omni-channel advertising solution was created for Metro including an in-store digital interactive kiosk with attracting digital signage above. The DS showcased recipe videos that highlighted ingredients available in-store and drove the customer to engage below with an interactive touch screen experience that allowed search of recipe, products, coupons and more. The kiosk allowed the viewer to print out the recipes and coupons as well as provided a map / wayfinding to help them gather the needed ingredients. The recipe video segments where also available online and in social media spaces. Celebrity chef Ted Reader was cast as one of many chef’s that would create the delicious recipe. I provided complete strategy, ideation, ad agency collaboration and leadership, creative and art direction for all aspects of the project.
